Dusty is currently the Analyst-Principal Cyber Security at Westlake, joining the company in September 2023. He has over 20 years in IT ranging from cabling, help desk, server, network, and cyber security. Previous industry stops along the path to Westlake have included environmental consulting, education, healthcare, telecommunication, energy, and transportation. Another key stop along the way, Dusty was Manager of IT Operations for the Houston Astros from 2016- 2021, helping to rebuild infrastructure following a major security incident and supporting the team through a pair of World Series appearances. In his spare time, he is running a sports recruiting website and running a sporting podcast. Dusty holds several industry certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
