Your employees get smarter. Massachusetts pays for it.
The Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) reimburses Massachusetts employers up to 100% of training costs for full-time employees. CyberWarrior is a Commonwealth Corporation-approved WTFP Express vendor — which means less paperwork and faster approval for your business.
What is the WTFP?
The Workforce Training Fund Program is a state-funded grant administered by Commonwealth Corporation. Funded by employer contributions to the UI system, it exists to upgrade the skills of Massachusetts workers at no cost to the businesses that need it most.
Express Program
For employers with 100 or fewer employees. Streamlined application, faster approval, grants up to $30,000 per employee per year. Best fit for small businesses that want to move quickly.
General Program
For employers of any size with larger training needs. Supports multi-employee cohorts and longer engagements. Higher grant ceilings with a more detailed application process.
Who is eligible?
Any Massachusetts employer that pays into the state UI system. Employees must be W-2, full-time, and based in MA. No minimum company age required.
What it covers
Instructor fees, course materials, and training delivery costs. WTFP does not cover internal staff time or hardware. CyberWarrior handles all eligible cost documentation.
Do you qualify?
Most Massachusetts small businesses qualify. Check these four boxes and you're eligible to apply.
You employ Massachusetts residents on a full-time, W-2 basis — not contractors or 1099 workers.
You pay into the Massachusetts UI system — if you have employees and file payroll taxes in MA, you qualify.
Your team has a skills gap — employees who will attend training must be employed at time of application and complete the program.
You can start training within 6 months of grant approval — WTFP requires training to begin promptly after funds are awarded.
