    Getting Started

How to begin working with CyberWarrior: the discovery call, onboarding, and what to expect.

How do I get started with CyberWarrior?

Schedule a 30-minute discovery call at cyberwarrior.com. We will assess your situation, confirm the right service, and give you a clear proposal within 48 hours. There is no obligation, no pressure, and no need to know exactly what you need before you call.

Getting started with CyberWarrior is a three-step process, and none of the steps require a large commitment on your part.

Step 1: Discovery call (30 minutes). Schedule a call at cyberwarrior.com. We will ask you about your business, your current team structure, your biggest operational challenges, and what you are trying to accomplish. We do not need you to arrive with a fully formed project scope. The call is designed to surface the right fit — or tell you honestly if there is not one.

Step 2: Proposal (within 24–48 hours). After the discovery call, we send a clear proposal: scope, pricing, timeline, and the specific next steps to get you from signed agreement to live delivery. For most services, pricing is already fixed — this is a confirmation document, not a negotiation opener.

Step 3: Kickoff and onboarding. Once you sign, onboarding begins within five business days. Most clients are fully live within 10 to 14 days of signing, depending on the service. For training, your program schedule is confirmed during onboarding. For AI Ops and MSP, system access, integrations, and baseline setup happen in the first week.

You do not need to know exactly what you need before the first call. You do not need a technical background. You do not need to have worked with an AI or managed services vendor before. Come with your problem. We will help you figure out the solution.

What does the first call look like?

It is a 30-minute conversation — not a sales pitch. We ask about your business, your goals, and your current challenges. You ask us whatever you want. At the end, we will tell you whether we are a fit and what the next step looks like. No pressure to decide on the call.

The discovery call is structured and low-pressure. Here is what to expect.

We typically start by asking you to describe your business: what you do, how many employees you have, and what prompted you to reach out. From there, we ask about the specific challenge you are trying to solve — whether that is AI readiness, IT coverage, operational efficiency, staffing, or something else.

We will ask specific questions about your current setup: what tools you use, how your team is structured, whether you have any existing IT or security coverage, and what your biggest bottleneck is right now. These questions are not a form-filling exercise — they are how we figure out whether the fit is real and which service makes the most sense for your situation.

You will have time to ask us anything. Common questions we hear on first calls: How does this actually work? What does your team look like? Can I see an example of what you deliver? What happens if I cancel? We will give you direct answers.

At the end of the call, we will tell you what we think the right next step is — which service, why, and what it would cost. If we think you would be better served by a different vendor or a different approach, we will tell you that too.

There is no obligation to decide on the call. No one will follow up ten times if you ask for a week to think. We want clients who are ready, not ones who feel pressured.

How long does it take to get up and running?

From signed agreement to live delivery: typically 10 to 14 days for AI Ops and MSP. Training programs can begin within a week of scheduling confirmation. The AI Fast Start consulting engagement kicks off within five business days of signing.

CyberWarrior's onboarding is designed to be fast. Here is a realistic timeline for each service.

AI Ops: Onboarding kickoff within five business days of signing. Kickoff involves granting us system access (CRM, email, calendar — depending on which function you are activating), going through a brand and process immersion session, and confirming the workflows and sequence logic. Full delivery begins within 10 to 14 days of signing.

MSP: Onboarding kickoff within five business days. We deploy monitoring agents, integrate with your existing systems, collect your device inventory, and establish baseline configurations. Full monitoring and helpdesk coverage begins within 10 to 14 days. The complimentary technical assessment (which we complete before you sign) gives us a head start on understanding your environment.

AI Fast Start Consulting: Kickoff within five business days of signing. The 30-day clock starts at kickoff, and the engagement follows a structured schedule: two days of live training in the first week, then two half-day consulting sessions per week for four weeks. Final roadmap delivery at the end of week four.

Training (WTFP-funded): Program scheduling is confirmed during onboarding. Grant application timelines vary depending on when you apply. We will walk you through the timing during the application process — Express approvals are typically faster.

The longest part of most onboarding processes is getting systems access and integrations sorted. The more responsive you and your team are during the first week, the faster we go live.

Do I need to know what I need before I call?

No. Come with your problem, not a solution. Most clients who call us are not sure which service they need — that is what the discovery call is for. We will help you figure it out.

You do not need to arrive at the discovery call with a defined scope, a project brief, or a list of services you want to purchase. In fact, clients who show up having already decided what they want sometimes need more time in the call — because the right answer is not always the one that seemed obvious from the outside.

What you do need to bring is a real problem. Something your business is struggling with: your team is not using AI and competitors are. You are losing leads because follow-up is slow. Your IT is held together with luck and one IT generalist who is about to retire. You are trying to hire people who actually understand the tools your business runs on.

Those problems are what we are designed to solve. The discovery call is how we figure out which of our five service lines maps most directly to your situation — and whether the fit is real enough to warrant a proposal.

If you are a Massachusetts employer who thinks you might be eligible for WTFP training grants, you do not need to research the program first. We will assess your eligibility on the call and explain the process.

If you work at a workforce board and you are wondering whether CyberWarrior is the right training partner for your participants, you do not need to have reviewed our curriculum beforehand. Bring your questions. We will bring the answers.

Come with your situation. We will figure out the rest.

Who will I be working with?

You will have a named account manager from day one. For AI Ops and consulting, you work directly with the CyberWarrior team overseeing your function — not a rotating support queue. For MSP, you have a dedicated helpdesk backed by 24/7 monitoring. We do not drop clients into anonymous ticket systems.

One of the most common frustrations SMBs have with managed service vendors is being handed off to a faceless support queue after they sign. CyberWarrior is structured differently.

For AI Ops: You have a named account manager who oversees your engagement from onboarding through ongoing delivery. Weekly scorecards are reviewed with you by that person. When something needs to change — a new campaign direction, a shift in the sales sequence — you reach that person directly. You are not filing support tickets.

For MSP: You have a named account manager for your overall relationship, backed by a 24/7 helpdesk team. Helpdesk tickets are handled by trained analysts. Critical security incidents are escalated to a human security analyst for review before any response action is taken.

For AI Fast Start Consulting: You work directly with a CyberWarrior consultant for the full 30-day engagement. The consultant who runs your kickoff is the same one who delivers the roadmap at the end. There is no mid-engagement handoff.

For Training: Your programs are led by instructors with direct subject matter expertise in AI or cybersecurity — not generic trainers following a script.

We are a company that is still close to its clients. The people you work with are accessible, and they are accountable for your outcomes.

What if I'm not sure which service is right for me?

That is what the discovery call is for. Tell us what your business looks like and what is not working. We will tell you which service addresses it and whether we are the right fit. If we are not, we will tell you that too.

Most clients who contact CyberWarrior are not sure which service they need. That is completely normal — figuring out the right fit is the whole point of the discovery call.

Here are some common starting points and where they typically lead.

If you are a Massachusetts business owner who has heard about WTFP training grants: start with a discovery call focused on training. We will assess your WTFP eligibility, explain the application process, and show you what a training program for your team would look like.

If your biggest problem is that your business runs on manual processes that are eating your team's time: AI Ops is probably the right conversation. We will ask which functions are most labor-intensive and map them to our four AI Ops functions.

If you are worried about getting hacked, you have no formal IT coverage, and the question of what happens if your systems go down keeps you up at night: MSP is likely the starting point.

If you do not know enough about AI to know where to start and you want someone to audit your operations and build you a plan: AI Fast Start consulting is the right conversation.

If you are trying to hire people who actually know how to use AI tools: staffing is the entry point.

If you are still not sure after reading this: call us. The call is free and there is no obligation. We would rather have a 30-minute conversation that goes nowhere than have you pick the wrong service because the website did not answer your question clearly enough.
